Direct increase in DA of government employees

Due to dearness allowance, there will be a direct increase in the DA of government employees and about 7.50 lakh employees of the state will get its benefit. This decision taken by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh will be implemented from January 2023 keeping in view the interest of government employees. The benefit of which will start getting the government employees of the state from February 2023. Due to increase in dearness allowance by 4%, now dearness allowance will increase from 34% to 38%. 

Employees will get an increase of ₹ 9000 per month

According to the seventh pay scale, dearness allowance means that DA government employees used to get only 34% of the basic salary, which has now become 38%. With the increase in DA, those getting a minimum salary of ₹ 15500 will get an increase of ₹ 625 in DA and employees getting a maximum salary of ₹ 2,15,000 will get an increase of ₹ 9000 per month. 

Due to rising inflation, the dearness allowance has been increased only after looking at the AICPIN index . Please tell that AICPIN is the index through which the figures of increasing inflation in the state are known. Looking at the figures of inflation, the state government has decided that from this month the dearness allowance of the government employees will be increased.

MP employees' DA will increase by 4%

The data of All India Consumer Price Index shows that the index has shown a total increase of 2.5 percent, which is 1.1 percent more than in August 2022. After seeing this increasing figure, the government of the country has decided to increase the dearness allowance of the employees. It becomes necessary for the state government to keep increasing the dearness allowance of the employees from time to time in view of the rising inflation. That is why the MP government has decided to increase this allowance by 4% this year. Due to which the dearness allowance will be increased from 34 percent to 38 percent. With the increased dearness allowance, government employees will get increased DA at the new rate on basic salary. 

If seen, the government employees are waiting for the decision of the eighth pay scale, due to which the employees will get a better increase in salary. But at present, the decision taken by the state government to give some relief to its employees will definitely lead to a slight increase in the basic salary. This nominal increase of up to 4% is currently visible as a decision taken in the interest of central employees.

DA Increment will be implemented from January

The decision on DA increment taken by the MP government will be implemented from January. The benefit of which will be available to the employees from February. That is, from the month of February, the employees will get salary according to the increased DA. If sources are to be believed, it is expected that this pay scale can reach up to 42%, but at present only 4% increase has been officially announced. Overall, this decision will prove to be in the interest of the government employees of Madhya Pradesh only.
